But they also have to be careful about where they purchase gengar for two reasons. First, because vendors aren’t allowed to sell gengar that has been modified. The second reason is that vendors can still modify gengar. They just have to do so in a way that makes it unusable. So if you want to get gengar, you’d better do it before the game’s end.
